The 48 Group Club held the first of a planned series of roundtable discussions on Friday 27 January. Invited guests, all with long involvement in China business, participated in a lively discussion led by Stephen Perry and Keith Bennett. Starting with key trends in China over the last few months, focused on policies related to Covid, the economy and diplomacy, the discussion then zeroed in on prospects for China-UK relations, especially challenges and prospects in trade and investment. All participants found it a worthwhile exercise.
